YKAM has been carrying out a social responsibility project called “Read –
Think and Share Project” in collaboration with the Young Guru Academy
since November 2008. The “Read – Think and Share Project” is carried
out throughout Turkey in schools determined by Ministry of National
Education. The project involves successful students nominated by the
school management, teachers, volunteers and observers. “Read – Think and
Share Project” aims to train and inspire innovative and socially responsible
leaders. The vision of the project is to serve as a catalyst to encourage
tomorrow’s leaders to deepen, enrich and inspire their collective creativity
and unleash their innovative social potential.
Creative Library and Training Sessions
The Company is also the sponsor of a “Creative Library” construction
in Hatemoğlu Primary School in Sarıyer, Istanbul where 22 Company
volunteers held special training sessions. By contributing to the sessions
as moderators or observers, YKAM volunteers presented training modules
with the students on positive thinking, responsibility, self-discipline,
learning from mistakes and prejudice.
